FHL is an umbrella organisation for the Federation of Norwegian Fishing industries, the Norwegian Fish farmers association, the Norwegian Fish-feed Producers Association and the Norwegian Association of Fish Meal Producers.FHL promotes the interest of its members in matters of: Industrial policy; working conditions; health and safety and the environment. The FHL is also active in the promotion of clean seas and proper care of the environment to ensure first class, food production through safe aquaculture can be sustained.

This EU funded Collective Research project with 23 partners from Norway, Ireland, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal, will provide the European marine aquaculture industry with low cost practical solutions to control biofouling.
