Lakeland
Lakeland is a Scottish salmon farmer, exploiting a range of farming
sites, from Haweswater in Cumbria to Unst in Shetland, Lakeland's. The
sites provide the ideal conditions to produce high quality salmon, with
full traceability from egg to market. Experience has proved that high
quality standards in salmon production can only be achieved and
maintained by expert husbandry techniques as employed at Lakeland,
e.g.: large cages and low stocking densities with sub surface feed
monitoring, constant health status monitoring backed by regular
S.E.E.R.A.D. tests and low stress harvesting and rapid post-harvest
cooling.
Lakelands main role in CRAB will be to partake in the CRAB field trial program (fouling-baseline and efficacy testing). |
